Happy New Year from all of us at Heaton Moor United Church! The first notice sheet of 2018 is a good one and includes a letter from our new minister Reverend Paul Brewerton. Click here.
Our all age Nativity service tells the story of Jesus’ birth and is great fun for the whole family. Your children can be a part of it by coming to the service dressed as a Sheppard, angel or animal. The kids really enjoy it and you will get some great photos of the holiday!

This event is always a success because it is so much fun. Grab a pint, sing some carols and dance like you are a bear!
If you have not managed to get into the Christmas spirit by this time, this service is sure to get you there. Bring your best singing voice and join us for an afternoon of carol singing. 4pm at the church.
It is that time of the week again! You can get a sneak peek at this Sunday’s notice sheet and be in the know before everyone else! Click here
Are the children in your life focused a bit too much on presents rather than the real meaning of Christmas? Come along to this event so they can make a Christingle. Each piece of the Christingle holds special symbolism to help children understand the importance of Jesus and the Gospel, and its relevance at Christmas time. Every year we alternate hosting this fun filled service with our neighbouring church, St Paul’s. This year’s Christingle will be hosted by them.
This is service is for us to remember those less fortunate than us. We ask that you donate a new toy (ages 0 to 14 years) which will go to the Wood Street Mission. They always have a shortage of toys for those 10 years and older. The office will be able to accept any donations if you are not able to come to the service.
Come to our Christmas Fair this Saturday. There will be lots of stalls and fun for the whole family (including a visit from Santa Claus!). We look forward to seeing you there! All proceeds raised at this event are given to charity.
